Toronto recovered from those two beat downs to salvage game three. Starters Juan Guzman and Corey Kluber got hit hard in short days. The bottom of Toronto’s order did most of the damage against Kluber: Tony Fernandez collected a double and a triple, Lloyd Moseby walked once and singled twice, Aaron Hill doubled, and Greg Zaun singled twice and doubled. Toronto relievers Tom Henke, Scott Downs, and Mark Eichhorn held Cleveland to a single run over the final five innings of the game.
